President Biden allegedly kept the families of U.S. Marines who died in the Afghanistan bombing waiting for several hours as he took a nap on Air Force One.
The families were at Dover Air Force Base for the dignified transfer ceremony of their loved ones’ remains after a suicide bombing at Kabul International Airport on August 26, 2021, which killed 13 U.S. soldiers.
Family members, including Roice McCollum and Darin Hoover, expressed their frustration, stating that they were informed Biden was sleeping while they waited.
Biden has faced ongoing criticism for his handling of the withdrawal and for not acknowledging the soldiers killed during the attack.
