Chuck Norris shared the news of his mother, Wilma Norris, passing away at the age of 103, calling her a profound source of strength and inspiration throughout his life. Norris stated, “Wednesday morning, my brother Aaron and I’s wonderful mother went home to be with Jesus.”
In an emotional Instagram post, he reflected on her deep faith and the values she instilled in him, emphasizing her role as a beacon of light and a model of kindness and compassion.
Norris shared, “From my earliest memories, she taught me the importance of kindness and compassion.”

Norris added, “I am so thankful for the countless lessons she shared and the way she embodied the love of Christ every day.”
Norris wrote, “Mom, I don’t know what’s more difficult to believe: that you are 100 years old or that you have a son who is 81 years old!”
Wilma faced numerous hardships throughout her life, including raising three sons alone after an abusive marriage and enduring significant health challenges. Wilma previously said, “We were having a real rough time, you know, back then we were very poor.”
Wilma had recalled, “They said, ‘Mom, if you’re living with Dad for us, don’t do it. We can’t take it anymore.’”
Wilma added, “I kept them in church and Sunday school. I taught Sunday school, and we had our prayers all the time. Spiritual life was very important to me.”
Wilma concluded, “God didn’t give us our children—He only loaned them to us for a while.”
Norris credited her unwavering prayers and strong faith for guiding him through life’s difficulties.
