At a star-studded fundraiser in Los Angeles, video footage showed President Biden appearing frozen on stage before former President Obama grabbed his arm and led him off.
Left-wing fact-checkers like Associated Press argues that criticism of Biden is “nonsense.”
The incident prompted reaction and speculation on social media from critics about Biden’s mental acuity and fitness.

Some noted Biden facing the side rather than the audience before Obama signaled it was time to exit and kept his hand on Biden’s back as they left.
“Biden froze again last night and had to get escorted out by Obama,” End Wokeness wrote. “Is this normal?”
“Can you feel the energy?” radiologist Pradheep J. Shanker wrote.
“Obama has to grab his hand to signal it’s time to move and then has his hand on his back the entire time to guide him off stage,” another X user wrote. “Biden is not okay. They’ll all tell you not to believe your eyes, but my gosh is this obvious.”
Polling in recent months has found over half of voters feel Biden is becoming less mentally sharp and most feel the media tries covering up his perceived cognitive decline.
Some observers said the video was obvious evidence Biden is not well, though supporters counter such claims.
